the evidence is clear

We are a talented group of author Sisters (and Misters) writing mysteries, thrillers, cozies, and crime.

Sisters in Crime Atlanta Chapter is a member of the international non-profit organization, Sisters in Crime.

Our chapter attracts authors, readers, publishers, agents, booksellers, librarians, movie and television enthusiasts, all bound by our passion for mystery.

Our aim is to support women who write true crime and crime fiction by bringing in speakers such as assistant district attorneys, defense attorneys, police, private detectives, cadaver dog handlers, and more, bringing education about crime and criminals to our members.

We conduct webinars and have a virtual book club.

Our members include both women and men who are as interested in the craft of writing as what really happens behind the scenes. Together we learn about forensics, law enforcement, profiling, private investigation, and more.  Chapter meetings are held every month on the second Saturday at the Smyrna Public Library.  You are welcome to attend (2) free meetings before joining online or submitting a paper application.

We come from a variety of backgrounds, training, careers, races, and ages, and find this diversity enriching. We welcome everyone with an interest in the mystery community.

As a member, Sisters (and Misters) in Crime can look forward to being valued, supported, and stimulated by some of the most discerning crime writing enthusiasts in the Atlanta area.
